DTR Assistant 0.4 is now available for download. Changes from previous version:

- added option to start minimized
- added option to switch to Archkey automatically when DTR is running
- added ability to start DEMISE and DEMISE Internet Server
- home, insert, end, del, pgup and pgdn can now be used in Archkey
- fixed action "Cast spells on others" in Archkey
- UI changes

DEMISE released by Artifact Entertainment in 2000 will no longer be supported by DTR and DTR Assistant. The only supported version is DEMISE 1.03, released by Pharaoh Productions in 2003. If you have any other version, get the all-in-one easy install of DEMISE and DTR 1.2 - now available in the download section.

The Editing and Development section of the forum has been removed as nothing significant has been developed by the community in 18 months.

DTR Assistant v0.3 is now available.

DTR Assistant (DTRA) is an all-in-one utility, making all past tools released at dtr-dojo.com obsolete. It contains and expands functionality of DTR Enhancer, DTR Resolution, DTR Character Tweaker and Archkey. In addition, it adds the following features:

DTR Backup: Used for creating and restoring backups, DTR Backup tool will save your DEMISE system folder to your personal folder. There are 10 slots available for saving your game progress.

Top Players: Displays top DTR players and allows you to submit your characters to online ladder with a single click of a button.

DTR being official or not, it is still after all these years the only expansion for DEMISE. It stopped being official years ago after DEMISE rights owner wanted to claim it as his own and market it to boost sales. I didn't let it happen, because he and his "team" had nothing to do with its creation. Of course, the idea of Ascension would never exists without DTR.

Having said that, the current trend by the new "official" DEMISE team is to kill DTR using whatever means necessary, banning from master servers, censoring DTR on the forums, posting false information about DTR and similar. To sum it up: if it brings profit, embrace it, if it doesn't, kill it.

DTR is supported here at dtr-dojo.com as it always was. If any other expansion is ever released and there is demand for a character conversion tool, it will be created.

When you get in trouble in MP and no other player is around to help you out, use !help command to activate help request. An exclamation mark icon will be shown next to your name on the web page. Now just sit and wait until a helpful player notices it and logs in. Use !help again to deactivate your help request.
